Call for Papers

ICICT 2014 is organized by School of Engineering,Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi, India, with the support from TEQIP Phase II

Scope

The purpose of International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies (ICICT 2014) is to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners interested in the development and application of Information and Communication Technologies. Papers describing original work in the form of regular research work are invited in any of the areas listed below. Papers describing advanced prototypes, systems, tools and techniques, novel ideas, experimental findings and general survey papers indicating future directions in the specified topics are encouraged. Accepted papers, registered and presented at the conference, will be published in the Proceedings. Acceptance will be based on quality, significance, clarity and originality. There will be both oral and poster sessions. Satellite events in the form of Workshops, Special Sessions and Tutorials dedicated to emerging topics as well as to case-studies and industrial applications are also envisaged.

Conference Topics

Each of these topic areas is expanded below but the sub-topics list is not exhaustive. Papers may address one or more of the listed sub-topics, although authors should not feel limited by them. Publications

ICICT 2014 proceedings will be published in Elsevier Procedia Computer Science and the publication will be made available on sciencedirect.com in perpetuity with a free access to the worldwide audience. Elsevier Procedia CS is Scopus and CPCI indexed and publishes high-quality papers from leading conferences in the world. Last year, it was reported that 7 million article downloads were recorded in Elsevier’s Procedia series alone. Papers published in ICICT 2014 are individually metadated, XML versions are optimized for search engines, references are linked, and DOI (Digital Object Identifier) numbers are added. It is mandatory that, at least an author registers for every paper that is included in the conference proceedings. A short list of presented papers will be selected so that revised and extended versions of these papers will be forwarded for Journal publications.
